TMT Number 13, Clams in my Jammies!

1. One thing that you would totally redo (if you could) in regards to dog training?
I heard that you could use a deep sea fishing pole to teach a dog his flanks. I think I'd have moved my dogs up to PN and then O faster if they knew their fishing flanks. I've recently found a used one on Craig's List for $60 I'm going to put a downpayment down tonight, out in Greenleaf. I love fishing! And dog training. This is perfect.

2. One thing that you enjoyed doing in the past that you no longer participate in (dog or non-dog related)?
The annual Jordan Valley Running of the Clams. I used to love getting all dressed up in my Traditional German-Basque Chorizo-hosen, with the lace tights and lady espadrilles, plus suspendors and a gun with bayonet (for clam stabbing). When the little gates opened on the City Mulluskateria and the clams spilled out, the race was on! And so was the pot of boiling water. We men put cubes of butter in our hosen where it would then melt in the heat of the dance. It is customary to ask a special lady...or ladies...or sometimes a ewe.(later in the evening)... if she'd care to "Dip In?" and offer her your pocket.

3. Best dog and/or training books you’ve read (fiction or non)?
I recently finished reading the clever signs in the Homedale/Wilder dog park, only it turns out there is no such a thing and I have been asked to quit letting my dogs poop in the graveyard. Doug L. Waters is a real person (or WAS) and not spanish. Which is good; I'll quit trying to get that urn to turn on.
Likewise, RIP, entre Crapo family. Sorry!

4. What is the best part of dog trialing for you?
The winning part. If you aren't first, you're third. Second is not good enough and yet not third enough.

5. I totally have puppy fever (thanks to Robin and her adorable litter of Rhyme x Bill pups - I'm totally in love with Tib aka Mouse!) so please post an adorable puppy picture of one (or all!) of your dogs!
I only own mineral rights on my dogs. Helsley owns surface rights. I can only give you a bag of doo. Or tell you wear to find one in the Homedale/Wilder cemetary. Look for 'Crapo'...but remember THAT IS JUST A NAME!!  NOT Spanish, either!
